Historical Background
The Armed Forces Language Institute (MODLI) is an ancient educational institution affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Defense. It was established in 1981, and since that date, the Institute has been a beacon in the field of teaching languages and providing various services related to those languages. Ministry of Defense Language Institute (MODLI) was established in 1981 and included the following educational wings:
English Language Wing.
French language Wing.
German language Wing.
Hebrew language Wing.
In 1990, the following language wings were added:
Arabic language wing.

Italian language wing.
Russian language wing.
Korean language wing.
In 1998, the following language wings were added:
Spanish Language wings.
Greek Language wings.
In 2005, the following language wings were added:
Chinese language wing.
